So far, great efforts have been made to improve the conditions of Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon and its hydrographic basin. Therefore, the major challenge of the current Project is to promote a complete synergy between the actions planned, so as to make it possible to achieve effective and long lasting results.
Taking that into consideration, EBX has been striving to legitimate this Project based on a solid institutional articulation, which involves specific partnerships with associated administrative public agencies. Related actions include the appraisal of programs, projects, actions and requirements to eventually celebrate Technical Cooperation Agreements.
On the municipal level, the Environment Secretariat (SMAC) is involved as the coordinator of a work group created by Decree no. 30511 - of March 4th, 2009 - and the following agencies: COMLURB (Urban Cleaning Company), RIO ÁGUAS (Subsecretariat of Hydrographic Basin Management) and Parques e Jardins Foundation.
On the state level, the articulation has been conducted in a partnership with SEA (State Environment Secretariat) and INEA (State Environment Institute). Furthermore, the Project establishes a partnership with CEDAE (State Water and Sewage Company).
